I have the honour to confira my telegram of the 20th
instant which was as followBI –
"Sassoons inform me that regulations for opium tax boing enforced Swatow several opium balls covered by transit passes solsed by likin station at Ketyung fort owing to refusal of pur- chasers to pay illegal tex.
